Guide to Purchasing Data Backup

THE ISSUE

YOU MUST BACK UP YOUR HARD DRIVES...it is an essential need that no business, big or small, can ignore! You must maintain a sequential series of backups of every hard drive in your office that contains operating system files (Windows, etc.) and the data files that you have created. For each desktop and laptop computer, you need to maintain at least one backup that is updated once per month at all times—this backup will preserve the disk structure and system settings. Important data files should always be saved to, and should reside on, a central file repository, such as a file server. You should maintain at least two weeks of consecutive workday backups of your file server’s drives at all times; depending on your type of work, four weeks or more might be prudent. Why? It’s really very simple—It is not a question of IF you will have a hard drive or other system failure—It is WHEN.

How lucky do you feel? Before you answer that, remember, we’re talking about your entire business—your daily operations, your company history, your plans for the future. When a hard drive suddenly fails and its contents become corrupt or totally inaccessible, or when critical files are accidentally deleted, wouldn’t it be great to be able to restore any or all of your system files, your personal settings, and your critical, irreplaceable data quickly and confidently? You must be proactive in defending the security and integrity of it all. YOU MUST BACK UP YOUR DRIVES!

THE SOLUTION

Fortunately, this once onerous and expensive task is no longer daunting. We’ve combined some relatively new office-grade disk-based technology with some very sophisticated and versatile software to make backing up your hard drives far more user-friendly, more capable, and considerably faster than ever before. This is what we use for our small business.

Maybe you’re not currently backing up your hard drives or you absolutely hate the unreliable tape-based backup system that you are currently using or you’re running out of media capacity…one of our complete data backup packages will surely answer to your particular need. end text
