Use: We grant you a limited license to access and use our website, including printing, copying, distributing, and downloading its content, ONLY if these actions are related to making a purchase on this site. For any other usage of material from our website, you must have written permission from Jackrabbit Microware.

Linking to Our Website: We grant you the limited right to create hyperlinks to our website so long as the link does not portray Jackrabbit Microware, our websites, or any of our products or services in a derogatory, false, offensive, or misleading manner. Accuracy: We make every effort to ensure that all material appearing on our website is accurate, complete, and current. Bearing this in mind, mistakes do happen and we cannot be held responsible for typographical errors or inaccurate content supplied to us. We also reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders placed for products listed with inaccurate information or an incorrect price. Additions and modifications to our website can occur at any time.

Occasionally, there might be discrepancies between the images and descriptions of products appearing on our website and the actual appearance and specification of those delivered. Between the time you place an order and receive that order, a manufacturer might upgrade or in some way modify its product –  we guarantee that you will never receive a product that is older or less capable than what we originally specified. In the event of a change, you will be notified. Package images may not depict actual quantities of each product - refer to the package descriptions for an accurate list of included products.

Reselling: We sell to end-user customers only; we will not accept orders from dealers, exporters, wholesalers, or others who intend to resell the products offered on our website.

Piracy: You must abide by the manufacturer's terms and conditions specified for each product. DO NOT illegally duplicate or distribute software.

Age Restrictions: This website is not directed to, nor intended for, any person under the age of 13. We will never knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13; if this inadvertently occurs, we will remove his or her personal information from our database. We recommend that parents monitor their children's Internet usage to avoid this situation. In addition, consent of a parent or guardian is required for anyone under the age of 18 to purchase from us.

Availability: We take pains to ensure the availability of all of our products, but in the event that an item is no longer available, we reserve the right to cancel or refuse any orders relating to that item.

Cancellations: Orders may be canceled prior to shipment. To cancel an order, please contact Tech Support via e-mail. Be sure to include your name, order number, phone number, and when you can be contacted. If you wish to cancel an order after shipment, please refer to our Return Policy.

Freeware and Open Source Software: Some of our products include a heading that appears under the Software Tab called ”Our Suite of Housekeeping Utilities and Productivity Software”; it contains software that is classified as freeware and/or open source, all of which is readily available to anyone free of charge on the Internet. We do not charge or collect a fee for any of these particular software products; however, our package prices do include an appropriate charge to install and configure these products.

Warranties: There are no warranties expressed or implied by Jackrabbit Microware regarding the content of this website.

The products available on our website are subject only to the warranties of their respective manufacturers; please contact them for complete warranty details. The manufacturer warranty period for each product begins on the date that appears on your final invoice, which will be e-mailed to you when your order ships.

We warranty the preparation services that are included in some of our products for a period of 7 days from the date that you receive your order. If you discover a problem, please contact Tech Support immediately for assistance.

Limitation of Liability: ALWAYS BACKUP YOUR DATA! It is your responsibility to ensure the safety and integrity of your data prior to usage of this website, usage of a product, or implementation of our advice. Under no circumstances will we have any liability with respect to any claims or damages (whether direct or indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive) as a result of the above stated uses.

California Electronic Waste Recycling Fee:

“When you purchase a new TV or computer monitor, you will be charged a recycling fee of $8-25, depending on screen size. This fee is part of a landmark law that created the nation's first eRecycling program. It helps keep harmful materials contained in millions of discarded electronic devices from ending up in landfills, while reducing pollution and saving resources. So for a few dollars, we can help protect California's environment, and keep us all a little healthier. For more information, visit eRecycle.org.” -eRecycle.org

This fee is MANDATORY for any order that includes an LCD monitor, including laptop computers, that will be shipped to a California address. This fee is applicable to each unit, so if you buy two monitors you must add two eWaste fees to your order. We will invoice you for this fee after your order has been completed.

For Leasing Customers: eWaste Fees are not required for products that are leased.

Surcharge for Clearance items shipping to CT, MA, or MS: There is a mandatory surcharge for items offered in our clearance section that will be shipping to a Connecticut, Massachusetts, or Mississippi address. This surcharge applies to each unit in your order and covers additional charges imposed on us. We will invoice you for this fee after your order has been completed.

Additionally: We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order for any reason at any time.

PRIVACY POLICY

The privacy of you and your personal information is extremely important to us. We will do everything that we can to ensure the security of this information. We will not sell or otherwise distribute your personal information, except for the purposes of completing your order or to respond to a legal obligation.

Information you provide to us: When you create an account on our website, we collect relevant personal information, including your name, mailing address, and
e-mail address, for the purpose of fulfilling your orders. This information is mandatory. During checkout, your credit card number is briefly collected to process your order, but it will not be retained or stored in our database.

This may include hardware or software vendors, our distributors, shipping companies, and/or credit card processors. How we contact you: You will receive confirmations, status updates, and order questionnaires via e-mail regarding your order. We reserve the right to contact you, via mail, e-mail, or telephone in order to facilitate the completion of your order. Additionally, we may, at times, send you updates, notifications, questionnaires, and other relevant material regarding our products, services, or policies. We will also send you e-mails if you have subscribed to one of our mailing lists. You have the right, at any time, to opt-out of our communication with you, provided your order is complete.

Update/Delete Account: You may request to update or delete your account at any time. Please contact us with your request.

RETURN POLICY

NOTE: This Return Policy does not apply to LEASED products or CLEARANCE items. All leasing and clearance orders are final.

If all of the following conditions are met and the procedural specifics are followed, we will cheerfully accept a product for return and issue a full refund.

Conditions:

  • Customer has contacted us within 7 days of receiving the product to initiate the return process.
  • Product was returned to us in undamaged, salable condition, included all packaging and accessories.
  • Product was received within 15 days of the date that the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) was issued.
  • No product has been registered with its manufacturer.

Procedure:

1. Request: Within 7 days of receipt of the product, contact Tech Support to request an RMA. We, in turn, will contact you to discuss the issue.
NOTE: Prior to approving a return and issuing an RMA number, we reserve the right to know the reason for the return request to help prevent a repetition of the issue, and we reserve the right to be allowed to attempt to rectify the problem. If we can't resolve the problem, we will issue an RMA number and specific instructions for returning the product.

2. Package and Ship: Once you have received your RMA number, you will need to package and ship the product(s) back to us at your expense. If the product to be returned is one of our technology packages, all of the components that make up the package must be returned — individual components of a package will not be accepted for a refund. Remember, we must receive the product(s) within 15 days, so please ensure that your elected method of shipping accounts for this.

NOTE: We recommend that you purchase full shipping insurance and also request proof of delivery. We are not responsible for products lost or damaged during return shipment.

3. Inspect: Upon receipt from you, we will examine the contents of your shipment and verify the condition of the product(s).

4. Refund: If your shipment passes our inspection, we will immediately issue you a full refund and then send you a confirmation. If there is an issue regarding your shipment, we will contact you with two options.

a. We will refund the full amount, less the cost of bringing the product(s) up to salable condition.

b. We will offer to send the product back to you at your expense

ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT

We are committed to environmental awareness and protection. We do our best to ensure that paper, petroleum products, and electrical usage are kept to a minimum here at our office. The "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" mantra exists at the core of our business, and we strive to encourage this environment-first attitude among our suppliers and customers alike. We take pains to ensure that the products we sell meet high energy efficiency standards, and, where possible, we package your orders using recycled and biodegradable materials. We are limited in our sustainability efforts by the necessities of conducting business in today's world, but we pledge to do everything that we reasonably can, and we ask that you do the same.
